The Chicago Bulls and Denver Nuggets will tip it off on Tuesday night at the Pepsi Center in Denver. The Nuggets come into the game as winners of four straight games. Denver downed the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night to move to 6-7 on the season. The Nuggets are 3-3 in games at home this season. For the Bulls, they are third place in the Eastern Conference with an 8-5 record. Chicago has already played 8 road games, and won the first 6, before losing their last two.

The Denver Nuggets have started to improve on the defensive end as of late. Despite that, the Nuggets are still giving up 104.8 points per game, which ranks 26th in the league. Denver’s offense is led by point guard Ty Lawson, who is pouring in 16.3 points per game. In the 101-94 win over the Lakers in overtime, Lawson was one of five players in double figures. Wilson Chandler led the way with 19 points, while Lawson added 18 and Aaron Afflalo had 15. The Nuggets also used 13 rebounds from Timofey Mozgov in the win.

The Chicago Bulls are seeking to snap their two game losing streak. The Bulls took a 105-87 loss at the hands of the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night. In the loss, rookie Nikola Mirotic led the team in scoring with 24 points and 11 rebounds. The Bulls are led in scoring this season by Jimmy Butler. The free agent to be is scoring 20.4 points per game. Point guard Derrick Rose has played in just five games this season, battling various injuries. This is the fifth game of a 7 game road trip for Chicago known as the “Circus Trip”.
