The Chicago Bulls, who have an excellent 9-3 road record this season, will be visiting the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday night.

During the 2013-14 season, the Bulls were able to win three out of their four games against the Hornets. It was a close series, though, as none of the games were decided by more than six points.

Bulls shooting guard Jimmy Butler has played in eight games against the Hornets in his career, averaging nine points and 3.4 rebounds per game against them. Big man Pau Gasol has averaged nearly 19 points and 9.2 rebounds per game against Charlotte in his career, while veteran Mike Dunleavy has scored 12.9 points per game against them in 25 games.

Last Saturday, the Hornets lost their ninth game in a row when they were blown out 105-75 by the Atlanta Hawks on the road. They made just five of their 23 three-point attempts in that loss and finished with a 33 percent field goal percentage.

Through 18 games, the Hornets are near the bottom of the league in scoring with just 93.6 points per game. Center Al Jefferson has a team-high 21.3 PER on the season by averaging 20 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. Small forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has done well in his six games this season, averaging 9.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
