The Philadelphia 76ers have had a terrible season, but one of their few wins came against the Charlotte Bobcats back in January where they were able to get the 95-92 home win. The Bobcats were struggling just as badly as the 76ers were at that point, but have since turned their season around and are now close to securing a playoff spot.

The Bobcats had a three-point lead going into the second quarter, but the 76ers outscored them 29-28 in the second quarter to take an eight-point lead into the half. The second half was a bit more back-and-forth and it took a three-pointer from Thaddeus Young with just over three seconds left in the game to win it for Philadelphia.

One of the main reasons why the 76ers were able to win this one was because they shot 50.6% on the night and held the Bobcats to just 39.8%. Charlotte also struggled from the free throw line, making just five of their 20 attempts.

76ers big man Spencer Hawes was their top player in the game, scoring 17 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in the win. Shooting guard Evan Turner had 23 points and seven rebounds for the home side, while rookie Michael Carter-Williams contributed 20 points and eight rebounds.

Kemba Walker played 43 minutes in the game for the Bobcats and put up a game-high 26 points, eight assists and five rebounds. Center Al Jefferson scored 24 points in the loss and also added eight rebounds.
