The Charlotte Bobcats were able to beat the Orlando Magic 111-101 the last time these two teams played despite blowing a huge first half lead. The Bobcats, who had lost nine of their past 11 going into the game, were able to finish off the Magic by making 16 of the 20 free throws they shot in the fourth quarter.
Charlotte got off to a flying start, outscoring the Magic 30-18 in the first quarter. That lead didn't last very long though, as Orlando scored 35 in the second quarter and went into the locker room up by one. The Bobcats took a five point lead into the fourth, but the Magic were able to take the lead early in the quarter. Then, thanks to good shooting and a great deal of free throws, the Bobcats were able to hold on for the win.
The Bobcats were led by Al Jefferson, who had 30 points in the game and pulled down 16 rebounds. Kemba Walker had a double-double of his own in this one, scoring 19 points and dishing out 10 assists. Josh McRoberts and Gerald Henderson had 17 points apiece in the win.
All five Orlando starters scored in double figures, with Arron Afflalo leading the way with 24 points. Glen Davis added 11 rebounds to go along with his 11 points in the losing effort.
