The last time the Brooklyn Nets faced the Philadelphia 76ers, the Nets were able to end their three-game losing streak with a 108-102 home win. The 76ers shot the ball well (56% field goal percentage), but their 25 turnovers were enough to keep them from getting the win.

Brooklyn started the game about as well as they could have hoped, outscoring Philadelphia 24-16 in the first quarter thanks to some fantastic team defense. The Nets took an 84-68 lead into the fourth quarter, but had to hold off the 76ers, who got back to within two points late in the game, to get the home win.

Shaun Livingston was the surprise star of the game for the Nets, putting up a great stat line of 13 points, eight assists, six rebounds and seven steals. His steals were the most important and impressive stat of the game because they all seemed to come at huge moments. His final steal was made with less than six seconds remaining in the game and helped seal the win for his team.

Brooklyn's Paul Pierce was the game's top scorer with 25 points, which included going 14-for-14 from the free throw line. Deron Williams didn't shoot the ball particularly well (8-of-19), but he did contribute 21 points and six assists in the win.

Michael Carter-Williams was the 76ers' best player on the night, scoring 21 points and blocking two shots in the loss.
