The Brooklyn Nets will be going up against the Orlando Magic on Friday in a game between two struggling offenses. The Nets were able to defeat the Magic 104-96 in their first meeting of the season.

On Tuesday night, the Nets used a 31-14 second quarter to help them defeat the Chicago Bulls 96-82 on the road. Their defense forced 12 Chicago turnovers in that win and held them to a 38.4 field goal percentage.

The Nets have played well on defense through their first 31 games this season, but their offense is only averaging 96.8 points per game. Small forward Joe Johnson has scored a team-high 16.6 points per game this season while also pulling down 4.8 rebounds per game. Center Brook Lopez is currently averaging 14.8 points, 5.7 boards and 1.5 blocks per game.

The Magic had their two-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday night when the Detroit Pistons came into town and beat them 109-86. Orlando had 15 turnovers in that loss and ended up being outrebounded 54-42.

So far this season, the Magic have one of the worst offenses in the NBA by averaging just 93.9 points per game. Small forward Tobias Harris has an 18.1 PER on the season by averaging 18.5 points and seven rebounds per game. Center Nikola Vucevic has scored 14.5 points per game while pulling down a team-high 11.3 rebounds per game.
