The Brooklyn Nets and Detroit Pistons will both be seeking their first win of the season on Saturday when they get together at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Brooklyn fell in their season opener on Wednesday at Boston. In the loss, the Nets allowed 121 points, which was the third most in all of the NBA. The Pistons on the other hand have lost two games already. First, the Pistons fell at Denver, scoring just 79 points, and then Detroit lost in Minnesota.

The Detroit Pistons saw their shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope play in 41 minutes against Minnesota. The guard scored 11 points, along with big man Andre Drummond. The two leading scorers for the Pistons came off the bench, as Caron Butler scored 24 and D.J. Augustin added 20. The Pistons are coming off four straight really poor seasons. The last two seasons, the Pistons have won just 29 games. Before that, Detroit won 30 and 25.

For the Brooklyn Nets, they were torched by Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo. After being questionable to play, the Celtics point guard dished out 12 assists, while scoring 13 points. Mizra Teletovic led all scorers for Brooklyn, with 20. The Nets also received contribution from guards Deron Williams and Joe Johnson as they scored 19 each. The Nets also picked up 11 points from Jarrett Jack in the loss. Brooklyn is coming off a 44 win season from a year ago.
