The Brooklyn Nets were able to win their late-March game against the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-97 to take a 2-1 advantage in the season series between the two teams. The Nets used a 32-21 second quarter to help them win their 12th game in a row at that point.

A huge reason for the Nets' win was their contributions from the bench. Brooklyn's reserves were able to score 48 points, while the Cavs got just 18 points from their backups. The Nets also shot very well from the field in the game, making nearly 55% of their shots and 14 of their 29 three-point attempts.

Nets small forward Paul Pierce only shot the ball six times in the game, but he was able to make five three-pointers and scored a team-high 22 points in the win. Reserve power forward Mirza Teletovic added 10 rebounds to go along with his nine points in the game, while Deron Williams scored 13 points and assisted on five buckets.

Dion Waiters made just six of his 18 field goal attempts in the game and ended up with 20 points and five assists in the losing effort. Luol Deng had a good overall game with 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Tristan Thompson had 14 points and five rebounds, while Anderson Varejao came off of the bench to score nine points and grab 13 boards.
