Brooklyn Nets @ Chicago Bulls  

Wednesday night, the Brooklyn Nets will travel to the United Center to face the Chicago Bulls.

The Brooklyn Nets dropped their 2nd straight game on Monday night as they lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 110 – 88.  The game was a big attraction due to the attendance of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge but the Nets just couldn’t give their best with royalty sitting courtside.  Brooklyn kept pace with Cleveland early on but they couldn’t keep up as the game went on.  In the 2nd half, behind LeBron James, the Cavs took over and ran over the Nets.   The Nets will look to break their losing streak and find some consistency as they take on the Bulls but that will be tough for Brooklyn as Chicago had no trouble beating the Nets the first time the teams met in late November.

The Chicago Bulls will also come into this one after losing their last game.  For the Bulls, the loss came on Saturday night as they fell to the Golden State Warriors 112 - 102. In that game, the Bulls were facing a Warriors team that had won their last 11 games and were hungry for a 12th straight win.  That sense of purpose pushed Golden State to a quick start but the Bulls tried to mount a comeback in the 2nd half only to be brushed aside by one of the best teams in the NBA this season.  The Bulls should have a chance to pick up a win over a Brooklyn team that although they are in 2nd place in the Atlantic Division, is not playing inspiring basketball.
