The last time the Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors faced each other, Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague helped the Hawks to a 118-113 overtime home win. Teague led all scorers with a career high-tying 34 points, while Millsap notched his first career triple-double in the win.

The Hawks came into the game on a four-game winning streak, but that looked to be in danger as they were down 26-17 at the end of the first quarter. Thanks to a 32-point quarter in the second, though, they caught back up and went into the locker room tied at the half. The teams went back and forth in the third quarter, with the Hawks taking a narrow 2-point lead into the fourth. Millsap had an open look to win it for the Hawks at the end of regulation, but missed it and the teams went to OT. Neither team could hit their shots in the extra period, but free throws and good defense helped the Hawks hold off the Raptors for the win.

DeMar DeRozan was the Raptors' key man yet again as he scored 29 points, pulled down 10 boards and dished out six assists in the game. It was DeRozan's late turnovers in the fourth quarter, though, that allowed the Hawks to stay in the game and take it into overtime. The win helped the Hawks stay in the Eastern Conference playoff hunt, while the Raptors remained in a top-3 spot.
