The Atlanta Hawks will play the New York Knicks for the second game in a row when they face each other on Monday night in New York. The Hawks and the Knicks had a very entertaining regular season series last year, with both teams picking up two wins.

On Saturday night, the Hawks were able to beat the Knicks 103-96 at home to snap their two-game losing streak. Atlanta made nine of their 22 three-point attempts in that win, and they won the turnover battle 15-8. The top performer in that game for Atlanta was veteran Kyle Korver, who made six threes and finished with a game-high 27 points.

The one thing that the Hawks do very well is share the ball, averaging 24.8 assists per game through five games. Their best offensive player has been point guard Jeff Teague, who is averaging 18.2 points and 8.2 assists per game. Power forward Paul Millsap has been able to average 13.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

The Knicks have been one of the lowest-scoring teams in the league so far this season by scoring just 92 points per game. All-Star Carmelo Anthony is the team's leading scorer by averaging 19.6 points per game, but he certainly hasn't been at his best. Power forward Amar'e Stoudemire has been able to average 12.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game through seven games.
