On Saturday night, the Atlanta Hawks will look to extend their winning streak when they play against the Houston Rockets. The Hawks and the Rockets each came away with one win from their two-game series last season.

The Hawks were able to outscore the Cleveland Cavaliers 60-38 in the second half of their game on Wednesday night to help them come away with a dominant 127-98 road win. They had their best offensive game of the season in that came, finishing with a 64.5 field goal percentage.

So far this year, the Hawks have a top 10 defense by only giving up 97 points per game to their opponents. Power forward Paul Millsap has had a strong start to the season by averaging 16.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Point guard Jeff Teague leads the team in scoring with 16.8 points per game while also dishing out seven assists per game.

On Thursday night, the Rockets had their three-game winning streak snapped when the New Orleans Pelicans beat them 99-90 in Houston. The Rockets had one of their worst shooting nights of the season in that game, finishing with a low 38.4 field goal percentage.

Despite that loss on Thursday, the Rockets are still one of the top teams in the league and are giving up just over 96 points per game. Shooting guard James Harden has had a great start to the year by averaging 26.7 points, 6.7 assists and 6.7 rebounds per game.
