The Atlanta Hawks will attempt to win their third straight win when they go up against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night. During the 2013-14 season, the Hawks and the Mavs split their two-game series against each other.

On Saturday night, the Mavericks won their third straight game when they defeated the San Antonio Spurs 99-93 at home. They played excellent defense in that win, forcing 19 turnovers and holding the Spurs to a low 41.6 field goal percentage.

Through 28 games, the Mavs are the top scoring team in the NBA by averaging nearly 110 points per game against their opponents. Guard Monta Ellis leads the team in scoring with 21.3 points per game, and their top rebounder is Tyson Chandler with 11.6 boards per game.
