On Friday night, the Atlanta Hawks will look to stay hot when they go up against the Brooklyn Nets. During the 2013-14 season, the Nets were able to win two out of their three games against the Hawks.

The Hawks won their fourth straight game on Wednesday night when they beat the Miami Heat 112-102 on the road. They played very well on offense in that win, making 54.1 percent of their shots as a team.

Point guard Jeff Teague has had a great start to the year by averaging 18 points, 7.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game. Power forward Paul Millsap has been able to score 16.7 points per game while grabbing a team-high 7.9 rebounds per game.

On Wednesday, the Nets won their second game in a row when they edged the San Antonio Spurs 95-93 in overtime. They made nine of their 19 three-point attempts in that win while holding the Spurs to a low 35.9 percent field goal percentage.

The Nets have only been able to average 98.6 points per game this year while giving up 99.5 points per game. Point guard Deron Williams has a team-best 18.6 PER by averaging 17.9 points, 6.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game for Brooklyn.
