The Brickyard in Indianapolis has long been known to be the most difficult track to race in the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Everything about the layout of the track is a challenge. The Brickyard features flat turns and long straightaways, fortunes can change on a dime in this race. A successful combination of lifting off the gas and braking will aid a driver in carrying that momentum through the short chutes on each end of the track to maintain speed much like a road course.

Last year, Brad Keselowski won the pole but only led 9 laps. The middle of the race was dominated by the Busch brothers. Tony Stewart would’ve won the race but he ran out of fuel with only one lap left in the race. Brian Vickers took the lead and ended up in victory lane. There have been 12 different winners in the past 12 races at New Hampshire.
Coke Zero 400 Picks, Odds and Predictions
by Josh Schonwald - 7/3/2014
Daytona will be different from the Daytona 500 in February. The race track was cooler and had more grip in February. On Saturday, the track will be hot and slick. The speeds may not be as fast as they were in February, but as all restrictor-plate races are, it will be an action-packed race under the lights. The trends that develop through these races are important to follow, but the nature of plate racing leads to wrecks and a fair degree of unpredictability.
Quaker State 400 Picks, Odds and Predictions
by Tony Sink - 6/27/2014
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series travels to Sparta, Kentucky this Saturday night for the Quaker State 400. Kentucky Speedway is the newest race track on the circuit. Saturday’s race will be just the fourth Cup race held at the track. Kentucky is a very bumpy race track so tire conservation is going to be key on Saturday night. Track position has also shown to be very important at this track.
Toyota/Save Mart 350 Picks, Odds and Predictions
by Tony Sink - 6/21/2014
NASCAR heads to the road course in Sonoma, California, for the Toyota/Save Mart 350. Drivers will take a break from high-speed oval race tracks to take on the 12-turn, 1.99-mile road course at Sonoma Raceway. Be prepared to hear unfamiliar names at the top of the leaderboards like Marcos Ambrose and AJ Allmendinger instead of Dale Jr. who is currently at 60-1 to win. Last year at Sonoma, Martin Truex Jr. took the lead over Kurt Busch on Lap 83 and was able to save fuel to beat Jeff Gordon to the checkered flag.
