"The Brickyard" at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is set to host it's 27th NASCAR race on Sunday. The iconic 2.5 mile oval track is located in Speedway, Indiana and has been around since 1909. 1994 was the first year hosting NASCAR races. The turns have 9.2 degrees of banking only, so expect top speeds for the 160 scheduled laps. Jeff Gordon currently has the most wins at Indianapolis, winning 5 times previously.

NASCAR returns to Alabama for the Geico 500 on Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway. The track is the longest oval on the circuit (2.66 miles), just ahead of Daytona (2.5 miles). "Dega", as the locals call it, is an asphalt track whose turns are about 33 degrees. Look for very fast speeds at Talladega, as it boasts the fastest recorded speed on a NASCAR oval course when Rusty Wallace was clocked at 216 mph in 2004.

This is only the 21st NASCAR race at the track, so it's relatively new compared to most tracks on the circuit. The track is asphalt and it has 18-20 degree banking. The track opened in 1993 and held their first NASCAR race there in 1999. It's a 1.5 mile track with 3 degree straightaways.

The racetrack is only .5 mile long and is unique because it has concrete turns but asphalt straightaways. It's the shortest track on the circuit and has been around since 1947.
