NASCAR will feature a rare Thursday night race this week at Kansas Speedway when the Super Start Batteries 400 takes place. The speedway is an asphalt oval track located in Kansas City, KS and it features turns anywhere between 9 and 20 degrees. Denny Hamlin last won at Kansas in October, which was his 2nd career victory at the track.

Texas Motor Speedway is set to host thousands of fans in the middle of a pandemic this weekend in Fort Worth, TX. Even though "safety protocols" will be in place, it will be interesting to see how the first major sporting event with fans goes. The track in terms of racing features 20 degree banks in turns 1 & 2 and 24 degree banks in turns 3 & 4.

Kentucky Speedway is set to host it's 10th ever NASCAR Cup Series event on Sunday in the Quaker State 400. Sparta, Kentucky is the location of the tri-oval track that spans 1.5 miles long. Turns 1 & 2 feature 17 degrees of turns while turns 3 & 4 are 14 degrees. The track opened in 2000, so it's one of the more mondern tracks on the circuit today. Brad Keselowski has 3 wins in Sparta while Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch have 2 apiece.

"The Brickyard" at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is set to host it's 27th NASCAR race on Sunday. The iconic 2.5 mile oval track is located in Speedway, Indiana and has been around since 1909. 1994 was the first year hosting NASCAR races. The turns have 9.2 degrees of banking only, so expect top speeds for the 160 scheduled laps. Jeff Gordon currently has the most wins at Indianapolis, winning 5 times previously.

Pocono Raceway is set to host the Pocono Organics 325 on Saturday on FOX. The track is 2.5 miles and is nicknamed "The Tricky Triangle" due to it having 3 turns. The track was designed in 1959 and is one of only 3 tracks not owned by Speedway Motorsports, Inc. or International Speedway Corporation. The banking on the turns is 14 degrees for turn 1, 9 degrees on turn 2, and 6 degrees on turn 3.
