Some drivers that have performed well at BMS historically include Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott. Kyle Busch is also up there and has the most laps led on this track out of all active drivers. Look for those drivers to be competitive on Sunday when the checkered flag is dropped.

Denny Hamlin was able to execute a perfect restart that succeeded and timely pit stop by the Joe Biggs Racing driver. With this restart, Hamlin was able to get out front and never give the lead back as he finished just 0.597 seconds ahead of William Byron, who had dominated most of the day. With his second straight win, Hamlin was able to replicate what he did back in 2012 when he won Bristol and Atlanta in consecutive weeks.

With the win, Denny Hamlin put himself in sole position of the second-place spot with 266 points, right behind Christopher Bell. Bell sits on top of the leaderboard with three wins and 263 points thus far. William Byron missed on a chance to secure that second spot with his runner up finish last weekend, but he still sits in third place with 315 points and a win under his belt. Rounding out the top five is Kyle Larson and Josh Better with 244 points and 154 points respectively. They both have one win this season.
