Phoenix Raceway
Avondale, AZ
We have finally arrived at the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Championship and after 35 events full of surprise comebacks, dominating performances and impressive crashes, we are now upon the crowning moment of the season. During the last few weeks, you could really feel the drama ramping up and we're excited about this one. For many years prior, NASCAR has named a new champion at Homestead-Miami Speedway which happened to be an incredible place to do it, but the sanctioning body of NASCAR moved this final race Avondale three years back. This track is considered an irregular "D" shaped oval with not much banking in the corners (9 to 11 degrees). The straight aways on this track are very fast and they're completely flat as well. While we had fun watching the finals in Miami, this unique track has been a lot of fun and even more fun to watch a champion be crowned on it.
There is a driver’s set for this race because it is, in fact, so unique. Many of the drivers look forward to this track and really thrive on this flat oval, however, there are also many drivers that would prefer to race on just about any other track than this one because of the way it is. One thing that is for sure though is that there will be four drivers fighting for their opportunity to take home the 2023 NASCAR title. The stakes are as high as they can be, and we'll find out what drivers possess the moxie to take this race by the horns and make it their own. The field is down to Kyle Larson, William Byron, Christopher Bell and Ryan Blaney. The title comes down to this final race. No more points, just a trophy and if they last two weeks have shown us anything, the title could be taken by any of these drivers.
Xfinity 500 Recap
While Denny Hamlin was prepared to get a win and move himself into the final round, Ryan Blaney decided to take the opportunity for himself. Blaney earned the win by 0.899 seconds over Aric Almirola. He got there starting on a green flag run at lap 168, tracked down Almirola, passed him and led the final 22 laps. With the win he joins Christopher Bell, William Byron and Kyle Larson as the final four of this season's Chase for the Cup. As for Hamlin, he was 4.149 seconds away from securing his spot.

NASCAR Playoff Standings
We are to the final race and the drivers that will be fighting for the Championship are Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, William Byron, and now, Ryan Blaney. Tune in for a truly epic final race of NASCAR's 2023 season.
NASCAR Cup Series Championship Odds
Kyle Larson - +150
William Byron - +250
Ryan Blaney - +250
Christopher Bell - +300
Out of the four drivers, Kyle Larson seems to have one of the best shots at winning the title because of his solid racing on this track. He won the championship 2 years ago, and he is set up to get his second title in three years. He's landed in the top-5 a whopping 39% of the time that he's raced here, and I think he's going to do very well once again.
Guy's Pick: Take Kyle Larson (+150)
