We've arrived at the Championship 4 after Sunday's Round of 8 elimination race. Before the race, 3 out of 4 spots were still up for grabs and it was an intense race. That said, we're almost at the finish line and our four drivers competing for the title include Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, Martin Truex Jr. and Denny Hamlin. Outside of Kyle Larson, all the drivers made their way to the final round with points.

Larson was this season's regular season champion and had five wins before the postseason. He has nine wins at this point and more than doubles the next closest. This will be his first-time racing for the Cup Championship and is thought by many to be the favorite to win it all. Chase Elliott will be looking to make this his second title in two years. Denny Hamlin is on his fifth attempt at the Cup Championship and Martin Truex Jr won the title in Homestead back in 2017.

Kyle Larson would start this race at the pole. Chase Elliott was able to grab the lead from his teammate before the competition caution but gave the lead back to Larson after the round of pit stops. Elliott would once again take the lead back from Larson after Ryan Newman caused a caution for cause. Elliott would hold on to take the stage.

Kyle Larson's pit crew would try their hardest to get him out for the lead, but he was knocked for speeding and had to go to the back of the line. As a result of this, Chase Elliott was able to reclaim the lead. That was until Austin Dillon cut a tire and brought out another caution. Out of pit road, Martin Truex Jr was able to take his first lead of the race. This didn't last long, and Elliott would not be denied the lead and the Stage 2 win. The win gave him enough points to clinch his spot in the next round.

Stage 3 started with Kyle Busch being tagged for speeding in pit road and was sent to the back. After another caution, Chase Elliott and Denny Hamlin would lead the field back to green. Elliott was able to take sole possession of the lead when Hamlin missed a gear and fell back in the pack. After numerous cautions and close calls, Alex Bowman and Denny Hamlin ended up being the two drivers battling for the lead with Bowman taking the checkered flag.

The final spot in the final 4 will be a battle as Ryan Blaney sits 1 point behind Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. is back just 3 points. In addition, Brad Keselowski sits just 6 points. back. That being said, you can expect a battle for the final four of the NASCAR season.

Kyle Larson comes into this one as the favorite sitting at +190. This is no surprise as Larson has had a dominate season. He had nine wins, led the most laps this season with 2,474, had the most stage wins, the most top-10 finishes (25) and most top-5 finishes. Quite simply, Larson is the favorite, and for good reason. We like him in this one.
