The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series travels to Brooklyn, Michigan, this week for the Quicken Loans 400.
Drivers will be racing at the fastest track in NASCAR this week. Michigan is a two-mile moderate-banked D-shaped speedway that has wide, sweeping corners and long straightaways. If you feel the need for speed then this is the race for you!

Joey Logano dominated the last race at Michigan. He started on the pole and drove his Ford to Victory Lane.  Logano is having a tremendous 2014 season. He already has 2 wins, 6 top 5’s and 7 top 10’s. If that isn’t enough for you to consider picking Logano this week then look at his success on intermediate race tracks this year.  Logano has finished three of the five races this season in the top five when racing intermediate race tracks.

Sleeper: Clint Bowyer (Odds to win 23/1)
Bowyer has a streak of five straight top-10 finishes at Michigan and has placed eighth or better in six consecutive here. He's recorded an average running position of 12th or better in each of the last three races of the season. Toyota takes this race pretty seriously since they’re racing in the backyard of the “Big Three” car manufacturers.

Bust: Jimmy Johnson (Odds to win 5/1)
Johnson is the best driver in the series, and he should be considered a favorite at each race track except Michigan. Among the five active Cup places where Johnson hasn't won, his number of Michigan starts nearly doubles the next track. Johnson has only managed nine top-10s in 24 career starts and he has finished outside of the top 25 in four of the last six with two engine failures.
