2014 Ole Miss Rebels Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/21/2014
Ole Miss is just 6-10 in the SEC over the past two years. But they have scored a host of recruiting victories over the last two offseasons and they are on the verge of seeing those signees pay major dividends. And after an 8-5 effort last year the Rebels are also on the verge of being a team that no one wants to play come October.
2014 Missouri Tigers Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/21/2014
The Tigers were one of the most underrated teams in the country last season, as indicated by their outstanding 11-3 record against the spread. Missouri went 12-2 straight up and their losses were in tight games against South Carolina and Auburn in the SEC Title Game (that game was closer than the final suggests).
2014 Tennessee Volunteers Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/21/2014
The Volunteers went 5-7 last season – the third straight year they posted that mark – and that means that they are oh so close to bowl eligibility, right? Wrong. Tennessee sucks. And even though I have a load of respect for coach Butch Jones he won’t be able to turn around this train wreck that quickly.
2014 Arkansas Razorbacks Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/21/2014
Arkansas did show signs of progress late in the season. The Razorbacks lost at Ole Miss by 10 (covering a 17-point spread), fell in a tough OT game with Mississippi State, and then gave LSU everything it could handle as a 26-point underdog, losing by just four. Arkansas has seven starters back on both sides of the ball and will be much more familiar with Bielema’s program heading into this fall.
2014 Kentucky Wildcats Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/21/2014
Kentucky won two games last year in the first season under Mark Stoops. Bumps and bruises with a new coach can be expected. And they are hoping to improve with some time in his system. Kentucky still doesn’t have a quarterback and the defense is a mess. But they do have four of their five starting linemen back and five of their top six receivers back.
2014 Mississippi State Bulldogs Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/21/2014
I don’t know that Dan Mullen gets enough credit for what a great job he’s done with Mississippi State. This team was on par with Kentucky and Vanderbilt before Mullen came along. Now they are at least respectable fodder, capable of covering a spread or two, for the top teams in the SEC.
2014 Vanderbilt Commodores Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/21/2014
Vandy only has 10 starters back and they don’t have a quarterback or returning starter at receiver. They only have four starters back on defense and the entire secondary is retooled. They are switching to a 3-4 defense and I expect things to be a bloody mess on both sides of the ball early in the season despite new coach Derek Mason’s familiarity with the roster.

The California Golden Bears will matchup with the Northwestern Wildcats on Saturday, August 30, 2014. Our matchup report includes analysis on both teams, betting trends, injury reports, and a free pick on who we think is most likely to win.
Appalachian State at Michigan Free College Football Picks & Odds
by Guy Bruhn - 7/18/2014
The Appalachian State Mountaineers will matchup with the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday, August 30, 2014. Our matchup report includes analysis on both teams, betting trends, injury reports, and a free pick on who we think is most likely to win.
2014 Appalachian State Mountaineers Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
Last season the Mountaineers played in the Southern Conference (1-AA) and this year will be their first official season playing with the big boys. Last year the Mountaineers’ 4-8 record was their worse record in over 10 years. And if you think about it that is pretty amazing.
2014 Arkansas State Red Wolves Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Red Wolves were an 8-5 team last year and are coming off a 23-20 bowl win over Ball State. But that was last year. After four straight winning seasons the Red Wolves will have a new head coach this year and the bright spot isthat they will have an experienced defense on the field. Last year the Red Wolves only lost one conference road game and if they have continued success winning away from Centennial Bank Stadium they could go bowling again.
2014 Georgia Southern Eagles Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Georgia Southern Eagles finished 7-4 last year and they ended the season with a momentous victory over the Florida Gators in Gainesville. Last year the Eagles played in in the Southern Conference (1-AA) and this season will be their first official season in the Sun Belt. New head coach Willie Fritz will also be climbing to Division 1-A status and I believe they have a stronger team this year then last year.
2014 Georgia State Panthers Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Panthers were the doormatof the Sun Belt conference last year, going winless in the conference and on the season. The Panthers made some progress toward the end of the season, hanging around games and only losing by two points on the road against Arkansas State. But this year I see a win coming out of the Georgia Dome as this team starts to come together.
2014 Idaho Vandals Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Idaho Vandals come back to the Sun Belt Conference and I see themhaving some success in this new-look league. Last year the Vandals won only one game. But they are much better this year. The Vandals played one of the toughest schedules last year and that experience for the 17 returning starters will only be a blessing this year.
2014 Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Cajuns were a bit of a surprise team for me in 2013, winning nine out of their last 11 games including a Bowl victory over Tulane. They did lose their last two conference games and this year I smell an even better team in Lafayette. The main reason why I like the Cajuns this season is that they are a veteran, experienced team with 17 returning starters.
2014 Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Warhawks were a bit of a disappointment last year, losing two out of their last three games as their defense ran out of gas towards the end of the season. The Warhawks suffered some bad home losses last year (Tulane, Western Kentucky, and Arkansas State) but this season I see them having a better campaign overall.
2014 New Mexico State Aggies Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Aggies come to the Sun Belt conference with enthusiasm but that is pretty much it. Last year they had a brutal schedule and I was shocked to see the Aggies even get two wins. This year they are breaking in a new quarterback and their defense has some major holes to fill. The only bright spot I see for New Mexico State is that their schedule is not as tough as last year’s.
2014 South Alabama Jaguars Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Jaguars closed out the 2013 season with three straight wins and ended the season with a .500 record. Bad part of last year is that their road record was awful and their defense on the road was pitiful. The main takeaway from last year was their three straight wins to close out the season and that should bring momentum this year.
2014 Texas State Bobcats Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Raphael Esparza - 7/17/2014
The Bobcats closed out last year with three straight losses and their defense gave up an average of 39.3 ppg in those defeats. All of Texas State’s losses last year were pretty much blowouts, except a home game against UL-Monroe which they lost by seven points. Texas State started the 2013 season with a big road win against Southern Miss but that was quickly forgotten and drowned out by their three straight losses to close out the year.
2014 Oklahoma Sooners Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/16/2014
The Sooners are still dining out on their demolition of Alabama in last year’s Sugar Bowl. And the feeling around Norman is that the win over the SEC power could be just the thing to revitalize a program that has been good, but just not good enough, over the past few seasons.
2014 Oklahoma State Cowboys Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/16/2014
It is tough to count out a Mike Gundy team. Especially since he has gone 41-11 over the past four seasons. But this looks like a rebuilding season in Stillwater. The Cowboys have just four returning starters on both sides of the ball and they have lost a ton of NFL talent over the past two years.
2014 Iowa State Cyclones Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/16/2014
Paul Rhoads is one of the most underappreciated coaches in the country. He’s kept Iowa State competitive during his five years at the helm despite being completely outmanned in one of the best, deepest conferences in college football. Rhoades has carried the Cyclones to three bowl games in five years but will be hard-pressed to accomplish that again this year.
2014 Kansas Jayhawks Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/16/2014
Oh Kansas, you try so hard. Charlie Weis finally realized – only about eight years too late – that the spread offense is The Thing in college football. He has started to adapt, but this proven loser is just 4-20 in his two years at the helm and his team hasn’t shown many signs of progress.
2014 Kansas State Wildcats Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/16/2014
Bill Snyder remains one of the best coaches in the country and has been masterful in his second stint with the Wildcats. Kansas State has gone 29-10 the last three years and they are always a player in the Big 12 despite holding firm as a bit of a throwback, physical, run-first attack.
2014 TCU Horned Frogs Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/16/2014
Much like Utah out in the Pac-12, TCU has found the sledding outside of the Mountain West much tougher since stepping up in conference competition. They’ve gone just 11-14 combined the past two years and have been a non-factor in the Big 12 since joining prior to the 2012 season. Things are looking up for the Horned Frogs but I still question how good this program can really be.
2014 Texas Tech Red Raiders Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/16/2014
Second-year coach Kliff Kingsbury has completely rejuvenated the Texas Tech program, bringing back the high-scoring, freewheeling point machine that the Red Raiders were used to in the Mike Leach Era. Tech won eight games last season and pulled a huge upset, winning outright as a 14-point underdog, in the Holiday Bowl. We’ll see if the Red Raiders can build on that momentum this year.
2014 West Virginia Mountaineers Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/16/2014
It’s been a rough ride down for West Virginia, who is a long way removed from the Rich Rodriguez heyday. Dana Holgersen has see his win total decline every year he’s been in Morgantown and this season might be his last shot to win over the natives. WVU has 13 starters back this year after entering last season with just eight.
2014 Texas Longhorns Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
The Charlie Strong Era begins with the former Louisville head coach taking the reigns of one of the premier programs in the country. Deposed Mack Brown left a full cupboard, with 15 returning starters and 13 senior starters, and Strong has an excellent chance to do some damage in his rookie campaign.
2014 Baylor Bears Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
The Bears laid waste to opponents in 2013 with one of the best offenses of the decade, averaging a ridiculous 52.8 points per game and scoring 69 or more points in five of their first six outings. The Bears won the outright Big 12 championship and solidified their metamorphosis from Big 12 doormat to Big 12 dominator.
2014 Miami Hurricanes Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
Perpetually overrated Miami finally seemed to turn the corner in 2013, working its way into the Top 10 with a 7-0 start. Some key injuries precipitated a weak 2-4 close to the year. And heading into 2014 it remains to be seen whether last year was a blip on the radar or a sign of things to come in South Beach.
2014 NC State Wolfpack Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
New head coach Dave Doeren bottomed out with the Wolfpack last year, dumping eight straight games after an encouraging 3-1 start and posting the first winless league slate in over 50 years. They were outscored by an average of a touchdown per game and finished in the bottom half of college football on both sides of the ball.
2014 North Carolina Tar Heels Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
The Tar Heels program has suffered through a host of on- and off-field problems over the last several seasons. But coach Larry Fedora overcame a slow start to the 2013 to win six of UNC’s final seven games and bring some positive mojo back to Chapel Hill. We will see if the Heels can carry that over into this fall.
2014 Pitt Panthers Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
This proud Pittsburgh program has been able to keep its head slightly above water over the last few seasons based almost solely on grit and determination. But the Panthers simply are not very talented and expectations have to be pretty low for Paul Chryst’s third season.
2014 Syracuse Orange Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
Once a premier football program in the Northeast, Syracuse has been fighting and clawing its way back to relevance over the past decade. They’re not there yet. But after three of four winning seasons the Orange have at least gotten themselves back to respectability. The 2014 season is all about the Orange avoiding a back slide.
2014 Virginia Cavaliers Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
Mike London’s seat is extremely warm after a dreadful 2-10 season that saw the Cavaliers lose their last nine games in 2013. London is just 18-31 in his four years at the helm and may need to pull a bowl bid out of his hat this season.
2014 Virginia Tech Hokies Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
Three years ago I predicted that Virginia Tech’s run as a national power was coming to an end. Their extraordinarily easy schedules and the statistical anomalies I found in their statistics from year to year suggested that the Hokies program had been overachieving for several seasons. Sure enough, Tech has struggled in back-to-back years and they are now a second-tier team in a third-tier college football conference.
2014 Wake Forest Demon Deacons Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/15/2014
Few head coaches in the country did more with less than Jim Grobe over the past decade. But Grobe has bowed out and new head coach Dave Clawson is looking to parlay his success at Bowling Green into some ACC W’s. I wouldn’t expect it to happen this year.

The New Orleans Saints will match up with the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 7, 2014. Our matchup report includes analysis on the starting quarterbacks, betting trends, injury reports, and a free pick on who we think is most likely to win.
Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks Free NFL Picks & Week 1 Odds

The Green Bay Packers will match up with the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday, September 4, 2014. Our matchup report includes analysis on the starting quarterbacks, betting trends, injury reports, and a free pick on who we think is most likely to win.
2014 Clemson Tigers Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/12/2014
The Tigers are turning the page after the departure o dynamic duo of Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins. That pair helped the Tigers to a 32-8 mark over the past three seasons and now Dabo Sweeney will try to keep this program among the elite in the nation. It won’t be easy, especially with a brutal schedule, and this could be a tough transition season for the Tigers.
2014 Florida State Seminoles Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/12/2014
It was a dream season for Florida State in 2013, culminating in a thrilling national championship win over Auburn and the school’s first title since 1999. With Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Jameis Winston back under center the Seminoles are one of the favorites to repeat as champions in 2014.
2014 Louisville Cardinals Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 7/12/2014
Bobby Petrino is one of the bigger scumbags in college athletics. But man, that guy can coach. So because he has proven that he can win ball games the Cardinals have welcomed their prodigal son back to Papa John’s Stadium.
