2014 Western Michigan Broncos Season Win Total NCAA Football Picks

2013 Record: 1-11
2014 Las Vegas Season Win Total: 2.5*
2014 Season Win Total Prediction: 'Under'
This is a young, young team. Western Michigan has the number one recruiting class in the MAC and they are going to need it. The Broncos went 1-11 last season and with such a young team it will be hard to take them to win three or more games. With the bottom of both leagues as bad as it is one of these teams has to win a few games. If I was going to pick a team out of Western Michigan or Eastern Michigan to win a couple it would be the former, but still not enough to take them to win three times.
This Broncos offense will be nothing like their professional namesakes. With all of the positional battles going on it could get extremely chaotic in the locker room. When numerous different 18-19 year olds think they are the man, things can get out of control quickly. The running games looks to be the bright spot for the Western Michigan offense as they have a returner in Dareyon Chance, but also have a slew of freshman waiting in the wings. Look for the Broncos to rely heavily on the run game and the talents of wide out Corey Davis (67-941-6).
The defensive side of the ball is similar to the offensive side, in that they are young. The Broncos will lean on the skills of senior corner Donald Celiscar and safety Justin Currie. Outside of the two of them the team is just not that good. The line is filled with underclassmen and the linebacknig group is lead by Devon Brant, and his wobbly knees. Ouch.
Many times you can find value at the bottom of a division, as the posted totals are extremely low. In this case I don't see any. This is just too raw a team to make a run at this total, but I would take the 'under' as they won't get to 3-9.
