On Saturday afternoon, the #14 Wisconsin Badgers (8-2) will visit the Iowa Hawkeyes (7-3) in a game between the top two teams from the Big Ten West. The Badgers were able to defeat the Hawkeyes 28-9 on the road last year.

Last weekend, Wisconsin won their fifth game in a row when they blew out Nebraska 59-24 on their home field. Running back Melvin Gordon set the single-game rushing record in that win by gaining 408 yards on the ground.

Through 10 games, the Badgers are third in the nation in points against by only giving up 15.3 points per game. Gordon now leads the nation in rushing with 1,909 yards through 10 games, and he also leads the country in rushing scores with 23. Wide receiver Alex Erickson has caught 37 passes for 480 yards and three touchdowns.

Iowa played well on both sides of the ball in their game against Illinois last Saturday and came away with a 30-14 road win. They finished with 304 rushing yards in that game, and their defense was able to hold Illinois to just 235 total yards.

So far this season, the Hawkeyes have been carried by their defense, which has only given up 22.5 points per game. Quarterback Jake Rudock has completed 63.9 percent of his passes this year for 1,863 yards, 12 touchdowns and just four picks.
