On Saturday afternoon, the West Virginia Mountaineers and their top 10 passing attack will go up against the Maryland Terrapins, who have played very solid defense through two games. Maryland beat West Virginia 37-0 at home last season.

West Virginia followed up their loss to Alabama with a decisive 54-0 drubbing of Towson last weekend. They gained 606 yards in that game while holding Towson to just 122 yards. The Mountaineers have passed for 360 yards per game this year, which is 10th in the country.

Through two games, Mountaineers quarterback Clint Trickett has completed 75.2 percent of his passes for 713 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Kevin White has 19 catches for 244 yards and one TD.

Maryland was able to score 10 points in the fourth quarter against South Florida last Saturday to pull off the 24-17 win. They committed six turnovers in the win, but they made up for it by converting eight of their 14 third down opportunities. The Terrapins have given up just 12 points per game this season, which is currently 17th in the nation.

Terps quarterback C.J. Brown has 312 passing yards this season with three touchdowns and two interceptions, and he has also rushed for 58 yards and three more scores. Stefon Diggs is the teams' top receiver with 2 catches and 103 yards through two games.
