The Washington Huskies (7-5) will be hoping to get a bit more from their passing game on Saturday when they face the struggling defense of the Washington State Cougars (3-8). The Huskies were able to defeat the Cougars 27-18 at home last season.

In their last game, Washington had an easy time moving the ball against Oregon State and came away with a 37-13 home win. They rushed for 226 yards in that game and converted on seven of their 13 third down chances.

Through 12 games, the Huskies have scored 30.8 points per game while giving up 25.3 points per game. Sophomore quarterback Cyler Miles has 1,880 passing yards this season with 14 touchdowns and he's only thrown two picks. Running back Dwayne Washington has been able to rush for 520 yards this year with a team-high seven touchdowns.

Washington State didn't take care of the ball in their game against Arizona State last Saturday and ended up getting blown out 52-31. They did have 601 passing yards in that loss, but they also turned the ball over five times.

The Cougars currently have the top passing attack in the country, but their defense has allowed opposing teams to score 39.3 points per game against them. Quarterback Connor Halliday has had a very solid year by throwing for 3,873 yards with 32 touchdown passes and only 11 interceptions.
