In a game that will feature two teams struggling to score points, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons will be going on the road to face the Utah State Aggies on Saturday night.

Wake Forest's defense had a great outing against Gardner-Webb over the weekend, which helped the Demon Deacons pull off a 23-7 home victory. They had 387 yards of offense with three turnovers in the game, but their defense held Gardner-Webb to just 137 total yards. Wake Forest has one of the worst rushing attacks in the country right now, averaging just 36.5 yards per game.

The Demon Deacons' most impressive player so far this season has been wide receiver E.J. Scott, who has caught seven passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns. Quarterback John Wolford has completed 70 percent of his passes for 388 yards and two touchdowns, but he has already thrown four interceptions.

In their game against Idaho State on Saturday, Utah State were helped by a punt return for a touchdown and an interception return for another TD in their 40-20 home win. The Aggies rushed for 311 yards in that game and forced Idaho State to commit four turnovers. Utah State has only been able to pass for 130 yards per game so far this year.

The Aggies' top performer this season has been freshman cornerback Jalen Davis, who has five tackles, two interceptions and one touchdown return.
