The top spot in the MWC Mountain standings will be on the line on Saturday night when the Utah State Aggies (9-3) take on the Boise State Broncos (9-2). During the 2013 season, the Broncos beat the Aggies 34-23 in Utah.

Utah State outscored San Jose State 27-0 in the second half of their game last Saturday and rolled to a 41-7 home win. The Aggies rushed for 313 yards in that win and they were 8-for-13 on their third down chances.

The Aggies have had one of the better defenses in the country by only allowing teams to score 18.3 points per game against them. Their main weapon on the offensive side of the ball has been wide receiver Hunter Sharp, who has caught 61 passes for 898 yards and seven touchdowns this season. Running back JoJo Natson has rushed for 461 yards this year with three scores.

Last Saturday, Boise State won their sixth game in a row when they blew out Wyoming 63-14 on the road. Their offense was able to gain 558 total yards in that win, including 312 yards on the ground.

Through 11 games, the Broncos are 10th in the nation in scoring with 40 points per game. Quarterback Grant Hedrick has had a good season by completing 71.3 percent of his passes for 3,041 yards, 20 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
