On Saturday, the UTSA Roadrunners will hope that their stingy defense can help them defeat the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Last season, the Cowboys beat the Roadrunners 56-35 on the road.

UTSA played in a tight game against Arizona over the weekend, but their creativity on offense led to a 26-23 home loss. The Roadrunners gained just 349 yards in the loss, while Arizona had 454 total yards. UTSA is only giving up 16.5 points per game this season, but they statistically have one of the worst offenses in the country.

Roadrunners running back David Glasco II has rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns this year, but he is only averaging 3.1 yards per carry. Quarterback Tucker Carter has thrown for 349 yards with one touchdown and one interception through two games.

Oklahoma State followed up its tough loss to #1 Florida State by easily beating Missouri State 40-23 over the weekend. They put up 480 total yards in that win, which included 206 yards on the ground alone. The Cowboys have averaged 35.5 points per game through two games this season.

Oklahoma State wide receiver Brandon Sheperd has caught six passes for 160 yards and one touchdown this year, while junior receiver David Glidden has six catches for 107 yards and a score. Junior quarterback Daxx Garman has thrown for 244 yards and two touchdowns.
