On Friday afternoon, the UCF Knights (7-3) will be going for their third win in a row when they visit the South Florida Bulls (4-7). The Knights were able to defeat the Bulls 23-20 last season.

Last weekend, UCF had their best offensive game when they blew out SMU 53-7 at home. They had 236 rushing yards in that win, and their defense held SMU to just 116 total yards.

One area where the Knights have struggled this season is in their running game, gaining just 129.3 rushing yards per game. Quarterback Justin Holman has 2,237 passing yards this season with 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Holman's top target has been wide receiver Breshad Perriman, who has caught 31 passes for 712 yards and seven scores.

South Florida has now lost three of its last four games after losing 31-20 to Memphis last Saturday. In that loss, the Bulls had just 95 rushing yards and they were unable to force any Memphis turnovers.

Through 11 games, the Bulls has only been able to score 18.7 points per game while giving up 28 points per game to their opponents. Their offense has had to rely heavily on running back Marlon Mack, who has rushed for 1,009 yards with nine touchdowns this season. Quarterback Mike White has thrown for 1,532 yards this year with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.
