The Tulsa Golden Hurricane (1-6), who are currently on a seven-game losing streak, will visit the Memphis Tigers (4-3) on Friday night. Memphis is third in the American conference while Tulsa is now in eighth.

Two weeks ago, Tulsa was outscored 31-3 in the second half of their game against South Florida and ended up taking a 38-30 loss. They lost despite outgaining USF 488-412 and only turning the ball over once.

Through seven games, the Golden Hurricane are giving up 40.7 points per game while scoring just 24.4 points per game. Their best player has been wide receiver Keevan Lucas, who has caught 64 passes for 809 yards and eight touchdowns. Quarterback Dane Evans has been able to throw for 1,941 yards with 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Memphis had one of their better offensive performances in their game against SMU last weekend and ended up beating them 48-10 on the road. They were able to rush for 230 yards in that win and finished with 582 total yards.

Memphis' defense has only given up 19.3 points per game this season, which is 16th-best in the country right now. Quarterback Paxton Lynch has thrown for 1,708 yards with 10 touchdown passes, and he has rushed for 127 yards and six more scores. Wide receiver Tevin Jones has caught 25 passes for 322 yards and two touchdowns.
