The Tennessee Martin Skyhawks (5-5) will have their hardest test of the season on Saturday afternoon as they have to go on the road to play the #1 Mississippi State Bulldogs (8-0).

Last Saturday, UT Martin had 35 first-half points against Murray State and rolled to a 62-38 road win. They had 402 rushing yards in that win and they converted on eight of their 14 third down opportunities.

During their winning streak, the Skyhawks have been able to score 34.3 points per game while only giving up 17.8 points per game. Quarterback Jarod Neal has been solid this season by throwing for 1,681 yards with 13 touchdowns and just six interceptions. Running back Abou Toure has 886 yards through 10 games with eight touchdown runs.

It wasn't easy, but Mississippi State was able to keep its perfect record intact by beating Arkansas 17-10 at home last weekend. They had three turnovers in that game, but they were also able to gain 459 total yards against Arkansas' defense.

The Bulldogs are currently 16th in the nation in rushing with 255 rushing yards per game. Running back Josh Robinson has averaged 6.8 yards per game this season and has 951 rushing yards with 11 touchdowns. Quarterback Dak Prescott has thrown for 2,025 yards with 16 touchdowns, and he has also rushed for 725 yards with 10 more scores.
