On Saturday, the solid defensive unit of the Temple Owls (4-2) will take on the struggling offense of the UCF Knights (4-2). Last year, the Knights were able to defeat the Owls 39-36 on the road.

Temple had their three-game winning streak snapped last Friday when they were beaten 31-10 by Houston on the road. Temple's offense turned the ball over four times while their defense gave up 439 yards in that loss.

The Owls have only given up 17.2 points per game this season, which makes them the ninth-best defense in the country right now. Senior wide receiver Jalen Fitzpatrick has caught 26 passes this year for 417 yards and five touchdowns. Quarterback P.J. Walker has thrown for 1,358 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven picks, and he has also rushed for three touchdowns.

UCF was able to win for the fourth week in a row on Saturday when they been Tulane 20-13 on their home field. They won despite turning the ball over four times in the game and only gaining 233 total yards.

The Knights have a winning record right now despite only scoring 23.8 points per game through their first six games. Quarterback Justin Holman has completed 55.8 percent of his passes this season for 1,098 yards with nine touchdowns and six interceptions. Wide receiver Breshad Perriman only has 17 receptions, but those catches have gone for 398 yards and three scores.
