On Saturday night, the Temple Owls (5-6) will try to end their three-game losing skid when they take on the Tulane Green Wave (3-8) in both teams' last game of the season. Temple and Tulane are currently in sixth and eighth in the American Conference, respectively.

In Temple's game against Cincinnati last Saturday, their offense could only produce two field goals and they ended up losing 14-6 on their home field. The Bearcats only rushed for 81 yards in that game, and they only converted on four out of their 14 third down chances.

Through 11 games this season, the Owls have only been able to score 24.3 points per game, but their defense has been one of the best in the country by giving up just 18.8 points per game. Quarterback P.J. Walker has had an up-and-down season, throwing for 2,062 yards with 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

Tulane has now lost four out of their last five games after being defeated 34-6 by East Carolina in their last game. They were only able to rush for 24 yards in that loss, and their defense ended up giving up 497 total yards to East Carolina's offense.

The Green Wave have one of the 10-worst offenses in the country this season by only being able to score 17.2 points per game. Freshman quarterback Tanner Lee has completed 55.8 percent of his passes this year for 1,853 yards, 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
