On Thursday night, the #6 Texas Christian Horned Frogs (9-1) will be going for their sixth straight win when they go up against the Texas Longhorns (6-5). The Longhorns were able to beat the Horned Frogs 30-7 on the road last season.

Two weeks ago, TCU came back in the second half to defeat Kansas 34-30 on the road to avoid a big upset. They turned the ball over three times in that game, but they were also able to rack up 463 offensive yards.

Through 10 games, the Horned Frogs are second in the country in scoring by averaging 45.9 points per game. Quarterback Trevone Boykin has had a great season by throwing for 3,021 yards with 24 touchdowns and just five interceptions. Boykin has also rushed for 548 yards and seven more scores.

Texas won their third game in a row two weeks ago when they routed Oklahoma State 28-7 on the road. Their defenses was very solid in that win, forcing two turnovers and holding Oklahoma State to just 192 total yards.

The Longhorns have one of the better defenses in the country by giving up just 21 points per game to their opponents. Wide receiver John Harris has been their best offensive threat by catching 59 passes for 976 yards and seven touchdowns. Sophomore quarterback Tyrone Swoopes has 2,152 passing yards this season with 12 touchdowns and six interceptions.
