On Saturday, the Syracuse Orange (3-8) will be hoping that they can end their four-game losing streak when they face the Boston College Eagles (6-5). The Orange edged the Eagles 34-31 at home in 2013.

Last weekend, Syracuse could only get into the end zone once against Pittsburgh and ended up losing 30-7 on the road. They turned the ball over three times in that game and could only gain 255 total yards against Pittsburgh's defense.

Syracuse has only given up 24 points per game this season, but their offense has only been able to score 18 points per game. Jarrod West is their top receiver this season with 44 catches and 655 yards, but he has yet to score a touchdown. Quarterback Terrel Hunt has rushed for 292 yards and has a team-high six touchdowns.

Last Saturday, Boston College came close to giving Florida State their first defeat of the year, but they came up just short in the 20-17 loss. They lost that game despite going 8-for-14 on third down and committing zero turnovers.

The Eagles have been carried by their running game this season, which has averaged 261.8 yards per game. Quarterback Tyler Murphy has 1,366 passing yards with 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, and he also has a team-high 1,059 rushing yards with 10 more scores. Running back Jon Hilliman leads the team in touchdowns with 11.
