The Duke Blue Devils (9-3) will look to pull off the up set when they take on the #15 Arizona State Sun Devils (9-3) in the Sun Bowl on Saturday. The Blue Devils were second in the ACC Coastal standings this season, while the Sun Devils were third in the Pac 12 South.

Duke snapped their two-game losing streak in their final regular season game by defeating Wake Forest 41-21 at home. Their defense was solid in that win, holding Wake Forest to just 64 rushing yards.

The Blue Devils have had one of the better defenses in the country this season by allowing their opponents to score just 20.6 points per game against them. Quarterback Anthony Boone has thrown for 2,507 yards with 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions, and he has also rushed for 346 yards with five more scores.

Arizona State had their chance to win the Pac 12 South in late November, but they were beaten by rival Arizona 42-35. The Sun Devils played pretty well on defense in that game, but their offense could only convert on six of their 17 third down chances.

In 12 games this season, the Sun Devils have scored 37 points per game while giving up 27.7 points per game. Wide receiver Jaelen Strong has caught 75 passes this season for 1,062 yards and a team-high 10 touchdowns.
