The South Florida Bulls (3-6) will be looking to end their losing streak when they face the winless Southern Methodist Mustangs (0-8) on Saturday night. SMU was able to beat South Florida by the score of 16-6 in 2013.

South Florida lost for the fourth time in five games two weeks ago when they were blown out 27-3 by Houston on their home field. They finished that game with only 222 total yards, which included just 76 yards on the ground.

The Bulls have one of the worst rushing teams in the country this season, averaging just 114.2 rushing yards per game. Running back Marlon Mack has been their biggest offensive threat by rushing for 828 yards with eight touchdowns. Wide receiver Andre Davis has caught 20 passes for 416 yards and a team-high five touchdown receptions.

SMU had their highest point total of the season against Tulsa last Saturday, but they were still beaten 38-28. They had 464 yards of offense in that loss, but they also turned the ball over three times.

Through eight games, the Mustangs are dead last in scoring with 9.6 points per game, and they're also last in points against by giving up 46.8 points per game. Quarterback Garrett Krstich has just 849 passing yards with two touchdowns and six interceptions. Running back Matt Davis has averaged 5.4 yards per carry and has 259 yards with two scores.
