The Samford Bulldogs (7-3) are going to have a hard time extending their winning streak on Saturday night as they will have to face the #16 Auburn Tigers (7-3) on the road. Samford is in second place in the Southern conference right now, while Auburn is in fourth place in the SEC West.

Samford won their fourth consecutive game last Saturday when they edged Citadel 20-17 on the road. They didn't play particularly well in that game, but they did do well to only commit three penalties.

The Bulldogs have scored 34.8 points per game this season while only giving up 18.6 points per game. Quarterback Michael Eubank has 2,011 passing yards on the season with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions. Running back Denzel Williams has 877 rushing yards with a team-high 16 touchdowns so far this season.

Last weekend, Auburn played their worst game of the season when they were blown out 34-7 by Georgia on the road. They turned the ball over three times in that loss and they were only able to gain 292 total yards.

Through their first 10 games, the Tigers are ninth in the nation in rushing with 272.8 rushing yards per game. Running back Cameron Artis-Payne has averaged 5.6 yards per carry this season for 1,276 yards and 10 touchdowns. Quarterback Nick Marshall has 14 touchdown passes with five interceptions, and he has rushed for 739 yards and 11 more scores.
