In a Big Ten game involving two teams that will be bowl bound this December, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights will visit the Maryland Terrapins. These two teams are both finishing their first full season as members of the Big Ten. Rutgers comes into the affair with a 6-5 record, but 2 wins in 7 tries in conference. The Scarlet Knights rank 96th in the country with 24.2 points per game. In the loss at Michigan State, quarterback Gary Nova completed just 11 of 26 passes. The Scarlet Knights picked up just a total of 234 yards in the loss. On the season, Rutgers averages 368 yards per game.
