The Oregon Ducks (12-1) will be playing the Florida State Seminoles (13-0) on Thursday night in the first ever college playoff game. The Ducks ended up in first place in the Pac 12 North, and the undefeated Seminoles had the best record in the ACC.

In what was expected to be a tight Pac 12 title game, Oregon was able to run away with a huge 51-13 win over Arizona. They had 301 rushing yards in that game, while their defense was able to hold Arizona to just 224 total yards.

The Ducks have thrown for 308.9 yards per game this season and are currently third in the nation in scoring with 46.3 points per game. Heisman winner Marcus Mariota has been the best quarterback in the country this year by passing for 3,783 yards, rushing for 669 yards and accounting for 52 of his team's touchdowns.

In the ACC title game, Florida State was able to edge Georgia Tech 37-35 to keep their perfect record intact. They didn't have any turnovers in that win and ended up with 488 yards of offense against a pretty good Georgia Tech defense.

The Seminoles have been able to score 34.8 points per game this year while only allowing their opponents to average 23 points per game. Their most consistent player this season has been wide receiver Rashad Greene, who has caught 93 passes for 1,306 yards and seven touchdowns.
