The Navy Midshipmen (6-5) will be looking to finish their season on a four-game winning streak when they play the San Diego State Aztecs (7-5) in the Poinsettia Bowl on December 23. It should be an interesting game as Navy's high-scoring offense will have to face an Aztec defense that barely gave up over 20 points per game this season.

Navy ended their regular season by winning three straight games, including last Saturday when they beat Army 17-10. They didn't have the best day offensively in that win, but their defense held Army to just 235 total yards.

So far this year, the Midshipmen are second in the country in rushing with over 345 rushing yards per game. Their best player has been quarterback Keenan Reynolds, who has thrown for 826 yards with six touchdown passes while also leading the team in rushing with 1,182 yards and 21 touchdown runs.

San Diego State guaranteed themselves a bowl game by beating San Jose State 38-7 in their final game of the regular season. They were 9-for-17 on their third down opportunities in that win, and they ended up outgaining San Jose State 427-231.

The Aztecs go into their bowl game as one of the top defensive teams in the country by only giving up 10.1 points per game. Their biggest offensive threat has been running back Donnel Pumphrey, who has gained 1,755 yards on the ground this season with 19 touchdowns.
