On Saturday, the Pittsburgh Panthers (4-5) will take on the North Carolina Tar Heels (4-5) in a game between two teams currently tied for fourth in the ACC standings. In 2013, North Carolina was able to beat the Panthers 34-27 in Pittsburgh.

Two weeks ago, Pittsburgh lost their second game in a row when they were beaten 51-48 in double-overtime by Duke. They lost that one despite having 594 offensive yards and not turning the ball over in the game.

The one thing that the Panthers do really well is run the ball, averaging over 245 rushing yards per game so far this season. Running back James Conner has been great for the Panthers this year by rushing for 1,342 yards with 17 touchdowns. Sophomore quarterback Chad Voytik has 1,470 passing yards with 11 touchdowns and six interceptions.

In their game against Miami two weeks ago, North Carolina didn't score their first touchdown until the third quarter and were blown out 47-20. They could only muster 258 total yards in that loss, including just six yards on the ground.

The Tar Heels have been able to score 35.4 points per game this season, but they have a losing record because their defense has given up 41.9 points per game. Quarterback Marquise Williams has been their best all-around player by passing for 2,226 yards with eight interceptions. Williams also leads the team in rushing with 501 yards and seven more touchdowns.
