The Pittsburgh Panthers (5-6) will be visiting the Miami Hurricanes (6-5) on Saturday night in a game between two very good rushing attacks. The Hurricanes were able to defeat the Panthers 41-31 in Miami last season.

Pittsburgh snapped their three-game losing skid last Saturday when they easily beat Syracuse 30-7 on their home field. Their defense was excellent in that win, forcing three turnovers and holding Syracuse to just 255 total yards.

The Panthers have struggled in a lot of areas this season, but their rushing game has been able to average 253.6 yards per game. Running back James Conner has scored 22 touchdowns this season and is currently third in the country in rushing with 1,600 yards. Quarterback Chad Voytik has 1,877 passing yards through 11 games with 14 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Last weekend, Miami lost their second game in a row when Virginia beat them 30-13 on the road. Miami only ended up with 327 total yards in that loss, including just 64 yards on the ground.

Through 11 games, the Hurricanes have scored 30.5 points per game while only giving up 23.4 points per game to their opponents. Running back Duke Johnson has had a very good season by averaging 7.2 yards per carry and rushing for 1,431 yards with 10 touchdowns. Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett has caught just 26 passes, but he leads the team with 723 yards and right touchdown receptions.
