The Pittsburgh Panthers will take their top 5 rushing attack on the road on Saturday afternoon when they will face the stingy defense of the Florida International Golden Panthers.

Pittsburgh's impressive running game was at it again on Saturday as it led the Panthers to a 30-20 win over Boston College. Pittsburgh had 414 total yards in the win and was able to hold Boston College to just 276 yards, including only 134 yards through the air. The Panthers have averaged 356 yards this season, which ranks fifth in the nation.

Pittsburgh's top player this season has been running back James Conner, who has rushed for 367 yards and five touchdowns in two games. Sophomore wide receiver Tyler Boyd has seven catches for 90 yards and three touchdowns.

Florida International held Wagner to just one field goal in their 34-3 home win over the weekend. FIU had 377 total yards in the win and held Wagner to 212 yards. The Golden Panthers currently have the sixth ranked defense after giving up just 8.5 points per game through two games.

Florida International wide receiver Jonnu Smith has 11 catches for 147 yards and one touchdown in his first two games this year, while running back Alex Gardner has 184 rushing yards on 27 carries. Quarterback Alex McGough has completed 22 of his 45 passes this season for 177 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions.
