The Oklahoma Sooners (6-3) will be going on the road on Saturday afternoon to take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders (3-6), who are currently on a two-game losing streak. The Sooners beat the Red Raiders 38-30 at home last year.

Oklahoma played their worst game of the season last Saturday when they were blown out 48-14 by Baylor at home. Their defense gave up 544 yards in that loss, including 396 yards through the air.

Through nine games, the Sooners are 15th in the nation in scoring with 38.4 points per game. Their top player has been running back Samaje Perine, who has rushed for 788 yards this season with 11 touchdowns. Wide receiver Sterling Shepard has caught 50 passes for 957 yards and five scores.

In their last game, Texas Tech didn't score in the second half against Texas and ended up getting blown out 34-13. They gave up 469 total yards in that game, which included 241 yards on the ground alone.

The Red Raiders have had a pretty easy time moving the ball through the air against their opponents, but they have only been able to score 28.4 points per game. Quarterback Davis Webb has completed 61.2 percent of his passes this season for 2,539 yards, 24 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Senior wide receiver Bradley Marquez has caught 53 passes for 637 yards and a team-high seven touchdowns.
