Saturday night, the Oklahoma State Cowboys will travel to meet the Baylor Bears.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys will come in after getting run over by the Texas Longhorns 28 – 7 last week. Oklahoma State’s offense couldn’t get anything going early on and their defense couldn’t stop the Longhorns either.  Texas had 2 touchdowns in the 1st quarter to go up 13 – 0 and added 3 field goals in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to take a 22 – 0 lead going into the final quarter.  Oklahoma State finally found the end zone in the 4th to cut the lead to 22 – 7 but Texas added one more touchdown to complete the win.  Oklahoma State has lost their last 4 games all in blowout fashion.  They will face another uphill battle as they try to slow down the massively successful Baylor offense.

The Baylor Bears put on another offensive showcase the last time out as they beat the Oklahoma Sooners 48 – 14 two weeks ago.  The Bears didn’t start out well but they finished the game just as fans were used to seeing them do.   After an early Baylor field goal, Oklahoma finished the 1st quarter with 2 touchdowns to take a 14 – 3 lead.  That was the last lead and the last points that the Sooners would see for the rest of the game.  Baylor went on a tear and scored 45 unanswered points in the final 3 quarters of play.  Baylor is averaging over 50 points a game this season and it will be tough for Oklahoma State to stop the juggernaut that is the Baylor offense.
