The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (7-4) will try to shake off their recent struggles when they go on the road to face the Southern California Trojans (7-4) on Saturday afternoon. Notre Dame was able to edge USC 14-10 last season.

Notre Dame has now lost three games in a row after losing 31-28 to Louisville at home last weekend. They only had 99 rushing yards in that loss and they converted just four of their 11 third down opportunities.

The Fighting Irish have had the 16th-best passing team in the country this season by throwing for 298.2 yards per game. Wide receiver William Fuller has had a great season by catching 66 passes for 962 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Last Saturday, USC could only score six points in the second half of their game against UCLA and ended up losing 38-20. In that loss, USC was only able to gain 276 yards, including just 62 yards on the ground.

So far this season, the Trojans are scoring 33.8 points per game while only allowing opponents to score 24.6 points per game against them. Cody Kessler has been one of the top players in the country this season by throwing for 3,133 yards with 30 touchdown passes and just four interceptions. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor has caught 85 passes for 1,103 yards and a team-high 10 touchdowns.
