On Saturday night, the Nevada Wolf Pack (6-5) will be hoping that they can snap their two-game losing skid when they take on the UNLV Rebels (2-10). Last year, UNLV was able to pull off a 27-22 road victory over the Wolf Pack.

Nevada was held scoreless in the second half of their game against Fresno State last weekend and suffered a 40-20 loss. They turned the ball over four times in that loss, and their defense allowed Fresno State to gain 551 yards against them.

The Wolf Pack have been able to score 29.7 points per game this year, but their defense has allowed opponents to score 28.3 points per game against them. Quarterback Cody Fajardo has taken every snap for the Wolf Pack this season and has 2,328 passing yards with 15 touchdowns. Fajardo is also the team's top rusher with 854 yards and 12 more touchdowns.

Against Hawaii last Saturday, UNLV lost their fifth game in a row when they were beaten 37-35 on the road. They lost that game despite having 423 passing yards and only turning the ball over once.

The Rebels have only scored 21.5 points per game through 12 games while giving up nearly 38 points per game. Senior running back Shaquille Murray-Lawrence has averaged 4.3 yards per carry this year and has 417 yards with a team-high eight touchdowns.
