The #1 Alabama Crimson Tide (11-1) will be going for their eighth straight win when they face the #14 Missouri Tigers (10-2) in the SEC Championship on Saturday. Both teams finished the regular season with 7-1 conference records.

Last Saturday, Alabama played one of their most complete games of the season when they blew out Auburn 55-44. They did turn the ball over three times in that win, but they were also able to gain 539 yards against Auburn's tough defense.

Through 12 games, the Crimson Tide have scored 36.7 points per game while only allowing their opponents to score 16.9 points per game against them. Their top offensive player has been wide receiver Amari Cooper, who has caught 103 passes this season for 1,573 yards with 14 touchdowns. Quarterback Blake Sims has completed 63.1 percent of his passes this year for 2,988 yards, 24 touchdowns and only seven interceptions.

Missouri scored 15 fourth-quarter points last weekend to come back and beat Arkansas 21-14 at home. In that win, Missouri threw for 265 yards while their defense was able to hold Arkansas to just 288 total yards.

The Tigers' offense has struggled this season, but their defense has been very good by holding other teams to just 19.7 points per game. Running back Russell Hansbrough has averaged 5.4 yards per carry this season and has 949 rushing yards with nine touchdowns.
