The Oklahoma State Cowboys lost a tough-fought game against the top-ranked Florida State Seminoles last week, and they will be looking to use that momentum when they face the Missouri State Bears on Saturday.

Oklahoma State were within three points of Florida State early in the fourth quarter of their opening game, but the Seminoles outscored them 10-7 the rest of the way to hold on for a 37-31 win. The Cowboys' defense did give up 476 yards in the loss, but they also held the Seminoles to just four third down conversions in 14 attempts.

Oklahoma State quarterback J.W. Walsh threw for 203 yards in that game with a touchdown and an interception, while also rushing for 51 yards and two more scores. Wide receiver David Glidden caught two passes in the game for 74 yards, which included a 55-yard touchdown grab.

Missouri State opened up their season against Northwestern State and used a late 21-0 run to pick up the 34-27 victory. The Bears had 418 total yards in their win, including 223 on the ground alone. Their defense will need to make some adjustments in their upcoming games after giving up 493 yards to Northwestern State.

Senior quarterback Kierra Harris had 195 passing yards for the Bears with three touchdown passes and one interception. Harris also rushed for 66 yards on the ground with another score.
